Peace Hour – Twitter Campaign

Aaghaz-e-Dosti has been working has been constantly working for the peace and strengthening relationships between India and Pakistan. From raising Indo-Pak prisoners issues to hosting interactions/talks at various level to publishing peace calendar, Aaghaz-e-Dosti is at the forefront of the issue.

Aaghaz-e-Dosti has also utilised social media in it’s goal and has runs many initiatives on our official social media pages. Aaghaz-e-Dosti is also credited with the first ever virtual peace building course in South Asia. Friends Beyond Border is an eight-week virtual peace-building course. Another pioneering initiative of Aaghaz-e-Dosti has been the “peace hour“. “Peace Hour” is a twitter campaign of Aaghaz-e-Dosti. It happens usually once every month, with the objective of highlighting issues, similarities between both the countries and for urging peace. Aaghaz-e-Dosti has received a great response with #Aaghazedosti becoming a top trend both in India and Pakistan.
